Description
The Rheem-Ruud RXBH-1724C05J Heater Kit produces supplemental heat through electrical resistance elements when additional heating is required. The electrical flow passing through the resistance elements generates thermal energy which is transferred to the air moving across the heater assembly. The kit is installed within the compatible air handler module and connects to the regular power supply control wiring and blower assembly. It generates 5 kW of electric heating from a 208-230 V single-phase electric supply to support heating operation in HVAC systems. Its configuration supports controlled heat output, coordinated airflow across the elements and consistent temperature conditioning during heating cycles.
