The Sporlan Controls 163678 5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) operates as refrigerant flow controller to achieve proper superheat levels in systems that use R-134A refrigerant. This TXV operates with 5/8″ inlet and 7/8″ ODF outlet and has 5-ton capacity to distribute refrigerant evenly and avoid both overfeeding and starvation of the evaporator.
