The Sporlan Controls 168354 TXV functions as a thermal expansion valve which controls refrigerant flow to cooling system evaporators including air conditioners and heat pumps to achieve optimal superheat and maximize cooling performance for HVAC systems. The valve operates with R404A refrigerant while offering 1/2 ton capacity through 3/8″ inlet and 1/2″ outlet connections.
