Description
The Trane CNT03775 Thermostat Defrost Control is a temperature-responsive control used to initiate or terminate defrost operations in refrigeration equipment. Its capillary sensing element monitors the temperature and changes the electrical contact state when the selected threshold is reached. The SPDT configuration provides switching between separate electrical contacts, allowing the control circuit to respond in HVAC systems to changing thermal conditions. The 50/52.5″ capillary length provides the required reach between the control and sensing point, while the 10-50F range defines its operating power span. This control coordinates defrost activity according to coil temperature.
