The Trane FAN02156 Fan Aluminum is an airflow product that is intended to circulate air in HVAC systems. This 18-inch diameter aluminum fan with two blades, and a 28-degree pitch is installed in air handlers, condenser housings, or rooftop units and has a 0.50-inch bore, which is used to firmly mount it on compatible shafts. The blade design and pitches are designed to produce the necessary airflow and the static pressure needed in the application. The fan facilitates the heat transfer between coils, even distribution and system coordination during heating, or ventilation by converting motor torque into effective air movement.
