Description
The Trane PST00113 Piston Unloader Assembly is used to control the compressor load in HVAC systems. It has a rating of 70 tons, and works by releasing the piston pressure during the start-up, and cycling to limit mechanical strain. The unit must be correctly aligned and firmly attached to the compressor in order to work correctly. In the system, the assembly ensures a properly operating compressor, energy efficiency and stable working of the compressor in case of repeated start-stop cycles, which leads to consistency in the cooling capacity and the duration of the refrigeration system.
