Description
The Trane RLY03180 Overload Relay provides motor protection by monitoring current flow and disconnecting the circuit when load conditions exceed the preset operating range. It operates through a thermal sensing mechanism that responds to excessive current buildup, opening the circuit between 7A and 10A to prevent winding stress and electrical damage. The 600V rating allows it to handle high-voltage control and power circuits while maintaining stable switching performance . It regulates power delivery to compressors and fan motors in HVAC systems, contributing to reduced overheating risk, improved motor performance, and stable electrical operation during continuous load variations.
