Description
The Trane SEN1283 Duct Thermistor Sensor is a temperature-sensing element that measures air conditions inside a duct and provides an electrical reading to the associated control system. Its thermistor changes resistance as temperature varies, allowing the controller to interpret the measured air condition and adjust connected operations accordingly. The 4″ sensing length provides the required reach into the duct air stream, while the 6′ lead extends the electrical connection between the sensing point and controller. Positioned in the airflow path, it supplies temperature information for automatic regulation of connected HVAC system processes according to changing duct conditions.
