Description
The Trane SWT02535 Furnace Air Pressure Switch 2.25″ WC SPST IS2 monitors air pressure within the furnace to verify proper airflow before heating operation begins. Mounted near the inducer assembly, an internal diaphragm responds to pressure changes and activates the electrical contacts when the required pressure level is reached. Signal changes are transmitted to the ignition control, inducer motor, and safety circuit to coordinate operating sequences in HVAC systems. Pressure verification permits ignition only after the required draft conditions are confirmed, supporting controlled furnace startup.
