Description
The Trane SWT03335 Thermal Flow Sensor is a monitoring component used to determine when fluid movement is taking place and to indicate the control circuit when the flow conditions have altered in HVAC systems. It operates by using a temperature sensor that responds to changes, in temperature from the fluid flow and sends a 24V AC/DC signal, helping the control system notice when fluid is moving in chiller and water-circulation HVAC systems. It is placed in the piping or flow line, where the sensing probe will come into contact with the flowing fluid and electrical leads.
