Description
The Trane SWT1613 is an essential safety appliance for Trane HVAC systems and is intended to be an automatic limit switch. As a small part, this component is only 3.2″ high, 1 inch long, and 2.52″ wide while contributing to the protection of equipment from overheating. The switch is a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) with a special characteristic – it can be programmed to open or close its contacts when the set temperature is achieved. Usually, it is adjusted to open, or break the circuit, when the temperature gets to 210°F. Equipped with pre-plated nickel-zinc terminals for long-lasting use and quick connect, the SWT1613 is easy to install.
