Description
The Trane SWT3965 Inducer Limit Switch is a temperature-sensitive safety control used to monitor heat conditions around the inducer assembly in HVAC systems. Designed to open at 145F and close at 115F, this switch assists with protecting furnace components from overheating during operation. It is commonly placed in residential and light commercial heating equipment where airflow and combustion temperatures must remain within specified limits. The switch interrupts the electrical circuit when excessive heat is detected and automatically resets after temperatures return to a normal range. Its role within the system supports better furnace cycling, inducer motor protection and controlled heating performance.
