Description
The Trane SWT3967 Rollout Switch is a product to keep HVAC system equipment from overheating. In particular, it is a 190°F thermal switch that shuts down the system automatically when the temperature inside the equipment exceeds this critical threshold. It stops damage to the unit melting insulation, burning out electrical components and even causing a fire. The self-contained internal mechanism of the switch opens the electrical circuit, cutting power to the HVAC system when the temperature reaches 190°F. It prevent further escalation of overheating problem. The SWT3967 Rollout Switch is used in furnaces, boilers and air handlers.
