Description
The Trane THT02849 Limit Control Thermostat Kit 180/230F is an essential control part that is used to monitor and regulate temperature limits and protect heating equipment installed in HVAC systems. It is based on airflow or surface temperature detection, and it turns off the system when the preset value is exceeded. It is often used in furnaces, air handlers, and packaged systems to prevent overheating in abnormal operation or in the event of inadequate airflow. In the system, it works as a protective switch enabling better cycling of heating elements and minimizing the damage to the heat exchanger and electrical controls in residential and commercial applications.
