Description
The Trane THT03082 is a High Limit Thermostat designed to protect HVAC systems from overheating. It’s a essential safety component that automatically shuts down the system when the temperature exceeds a predetermined limit, typically 225°F. This prevents potential damage to the equipment and minimizes the risk of fire hazards. it works thermostat contains a temperature-sensitive element, usually a bimetallic strip or a liquid-filled bulb. When the surrounding temperature reaches the critical point the element physically changes shape, triggering the thermostat to open. This interruption in the electrical circuit signals the heating system to shut down, preventing further temperature rise.
