Description
The Trane THT2546 Limit Switch is a temperature-actuated switching used to monitor and control internal equipment temperature. It opens the circuit at 140F and closes again at 110F, providing protective cycling for furnaces and air handlers during heating operation in HVAC systems. It is installed within the furnace, or air handler assembly and it works as a safety and control system connected to the control board. It supports regulating airflow and avoiding overheating by temporarily interrupting operation until temperature return to a safe range, ensuring stable performance of heating systems in commercial conduction.
