Description
The Trane TRR01701 Power Supply Transformer is a control component used to convert the incoming voltage to power low-voltage circuits in HVAC systems. It contains a 115-volt primary input and a regulated secondary output to be used as a regulation input in thermostats, relays, and electronic boards in the HVAC systems. This Class 1-rated unit is used in the air handlers, furnaces, and packaged equipment, where it reduces line voltage to the necessary level of control. It provides stable electrical output to safety and operating components, which facilitate coordinated equipment startup, shutdown and general system regulation.
