Description
The Trane VAL04815 Relief Valve is used to regulate the pressure by discharging excess fluid when limits are surpassed in chiller and refrigeration HVAC systems, with a 3/8″ NPT connection an adjustable range of 10-30 PSIG, and a 22 PSI set point of regulated pressure discharge. It works by having a spring-loaded system that opens when the pressure exceeds the pre-determined limit, and closes when normalcy is restored. It is placed in the pressure line or vessel connection, where it connects to the system to enable safe discharge. Its operation pressure performance in different conditions.
