Description
Trane VAL06383 2 Ton Expansion Valve is used to control the flow of refrigerant, into the evaporator coil in HVAC systems. Designed for R-22 systems, it has a 0.500″ ODS inlet and 0.625″ ODS outlet connection, for use with corresponding indoor coil assemblies. It is installed into the refrigeration circuit of the system, and meters refrigerant flow based on evaporator load conditions to maintain proper superheat, and stable cooling performance. It is widely used in residential and light commercial air conditioning system, which require accurate control of refrigerant for efficient heat exchange and temperature control.
