Description
The Trane VAL10459 Thermal Expansion Valve is refrigerant metering equipment, which controls the flow of refrigerant into evaporator coils in HVAC systems. The valve regulates the flow in response to variations in pressure and temperature to ensure that there is adequate superheat. It has a 120-inch capillary tube, and is designed to use R410A refrigerant so that it can be used in modern cooling. The diaphragm and sensing bulb assembly vary the valve opening to stabilize system load. It assists in the regulated distribution of refrigerant, and a consistent cooling cycle.
