The Trane VAL11711 4-way Valve Assembly is a refrigerant routing component used in heat pump elements to change the direction of flow of refrigerant between cooling and heating systems. Its main role is to move internal ports under the influence of control signals to redirect refrigerant through, the correct circuit paths without disturbing pressure equilibrium.
