Description
The Trane VAL12682 Expansion Valve is a refrigerant control component, used in regulating flow to the evaporator in HVAC systems. It has 0.25″ ODS x 0.38″ ODS connections and cooling heat pump loops to control refrigerant flow depending on load and operating conditions to ensure correct pressure and heat transfer. Installed at the evaporator inlet this valve is utilised in both commercial and residential settings. It is controlled by sensors and evaporator components based on the system concept of precise flow control and helps to maintain an even cooling effect, and internal restraint during regular operating cycles.
