Description
The Trane VAL18986 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) controls the flow and pressure of refrigerants that provide accurate cooling performance throughout the evaporator circuits in the HVAC systems. It works on the concept of sensing super-heat at the outlet of the evaporator and adjusting the flow of the refrigerant to ensure optimal thermal exchange. The model has a rating capacity of 12.5-ton and is programmed to work in Circuit-2 applications with the ability to be integrated with compatible refrigeration or air conditioning systems.
