Description
The Trane VAL19601 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) meters refrigerant entering the evaporator according to changing thermal load condition. Its sensing element monitor evaporator temperature and pressure conditions, causing the valve opening to adjust as refrigerant demand changes. The valve install near the evaporator inlet and connects with the liquid line, evaporator tubing and related refrigeration components. In compatible HVAC systems, its 8-ton capacity provides controlled refrigerant feeding for higher-capacity cooling equipment. This modulation maintains a suitable refrigerant supply for heat transfer while supporting proper evaporator operation, balanced refrigerant distribution, stable temperature control and consistent cooling cycle performance.
