The Trane VAL8612 is a Thermal Expansion Valve that is essential used in HVAC systems to regulate the refrigerant flow. Having well-proportioned ports, allows accurate regulation of the coolant flow rates to sustain the efficiency of the system. It is a thermostatic valve that is controlled by a thermal actuator to make changes to the valve, maintaining a reliable cooling capacity. This model supports R-410 refrigerant and has available male and female brazed connections for the device fixing. Able to accommodate 2-ton HVAC units or 4 tons of refrigeration, it is made of brass which will hold up well in different climates.
