The Trane VAL8990 3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve TXV is a Thermal Expansion Valve which is used for modulating the refrigeration flow in the AC and Refrigeration applications. It work on the foundation of the flow of the refrigerant which depends on its temperature and pressure so that the system performs well. This valve is a 3/8” X 1/2” valve and is designed for R410A refrigerant and is used in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. Some of the advantages of using this TXV include increased system efficiency, minimized energy use, and increased general system performance.
