Description
The York S1-025-41133-000 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is an essential part of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This 5/8” x 7/8” Outside Diameter Female TXV regulates the amount of refrigerant that is allowed into the evaporator coil. It functions with the temperature difference between the evaporator outlet and the refrigerant liquid line. The TXV controls the refrigerant flow as the evaporator load varies. When load increases, evaporator temperature increases and hence the TXV opens up to pass more refrigerant. This dynamic control allows for the proper flow of refrigerant and the highest level of efficiency of the system while consuming the least amount of energy.
