The York S1-026-49701-000 Black Fan Guard is an accessory that is meant to shield the HVAC equipment and at the same time work effectively. This guard measures 18” and is designed to fit perfectly over the air conditioning units to shield the blades from any intrusion by debris or any other foreign material. Made of strong material and painted black to match the unit, this fan guard increases the longevity of the unit and, in addition, eliminates the chances of accidental touching of moving parts. The primary use of this fan guard therefore is to protect the inside fan and motor from external conditions to maintain a normal rate of airflow and cooling.
