The York S1-124226 15-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TxV) is a component utilized in hardware units employing the R22 refrigerant. Usually this valve is used to regulate the refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil thus enabling a proper flow of the refrigerant in cooling system. The S1-124226 is designed with 15-ton cooling capacity and is recommended for use in large commercial and industrial buildings needing a lot of cooling power. This TxV, with connection size of 7/8” x 1-1/8”ODF, compatible with many kinds of HVAC equipments such as rooftop units, chillers and large air conditioning system.
