Description
The Zilmet ZHAV-12 High-Cap Auto Air Vent 1/2″ NPT removes trapped air from closed-loop water circulation systems by automatically releasing accumulated air during equipment operation. An internal float assembly responds to changing air and water levels within the chamber, opening the vent outlet when air collects and sealing the port once liquid reaches the operating level. Connected to boilers, radiant heating assemblies, hydronic HVAC systems, and expansion tank piping through a threaded connection, the vent fits into designated high-point locations within the piping network.
