Description
The Trane KIT9664 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) Kit controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to ensure the correct superheat, which can be used in HVAC systems. It has a valve mechanism that reacts to the change in temperature and pressure and it regulates the release of refrigerant accordingly. It is located in inlet of the evaporator and it is used to stop flooding, ensure the maximum cooling efficiency, and assist in the steady transfer of heat.
