Description
The Trane LAT00833 Latch with Black Knob is a cabinet fastening component used to secure access panels on compatible equipment. It is installed on unit doors or service panels, where the 1/4-turn mechanism engages and releases the latch to allow controlled opening and closing of the enclosure. The black knob provides manual grip for rotation, while the internal locking cam holds the panel in place during operation. Positioned on furnace, air handler, or packaged unit housings, it operates as part of the mechanical enclosure system, supporting access for inspection, maintenance, and servicing of internal components in residential and commercial installations.
