Description
The Trane VAL08679 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is used to control the flow of refrigerant in the HVAC systems, by regulating the supply of liquid to the evaporator in response to maintain accurate superheat and consistent cooling operation. It has a 3-ton capacity, is rated for R410A refrigerant and has 5/8-20 mechanical fittings that offer threaded connections to system piping that are secure. The temperature-sensitive sensing element controls internal flow passages to equal evaporator load, stabilise pressure differentials aid in the effective heat exchange and maintain balanced refrigeration operation under changing conditions.
