Description
The Trane FUS02299 One Time Fast Acting Fuse interrupts high-amperage circuits without intentional delay when current levels exceed its 60-ampere rating at voltages up to 600 VAC, protecting connected parts from fault-induced damage. Its single-use fast-acting element melts and breaks the circuit within milliseconds of a fault condition, limiting arc energy and heat exposure across the protected load before damage reaches downstream parts of the JJS-60 form factor. Seated in Class J fuse blocks within disconnect boxes, motor circuits, and power distribution panels located in HVAC systems, it protects compressors, fan motors, and control panels from overcurrent damage, reducing equipment failure risk.
