The Trane FLR08071 Mist Eliminator Filter 1.00″ x 18.36″ x 12.81″ capture fine water droplets from moving air streams through its mesh structure. It separates moisture via impingement, draining condensate away to prevent carryover into downstream sections. Among HVAC systems like chillers and evaporators, it protects blowers and coils from liquid damage during high-humidity loads. Slipped into frames upstream of fans in moisture-heavy zones, the filter blocks excess water while permitting vapor passage.
