The Trane BRG00958 Pillow Block Bearing, 1.44″ Bore is a mechanical support element that is installed in HVAC systems, to enclose and fix a rotating shaft, which is normally a part of a blower or fan assembly. It is characterized by a bearing fitted into a cast housing that is attached to the frame of the unit so that the shaft can rotate freely and, at the same time remain in line and minimize friction. It is attached to the motor and rotating parts where a shaft of a blower or fan passes through the equipment cabinet.
