Description
The York S1-02545302000 Thermal Expansion Valve is used to help manage the flow of refrigerant by detecting the pressure and temperature at the evaporator’s entrance and changing the refrigerant supply as needed. It is attached to 3/8″ and 5/8″ ODF fittings and can be adjusted to the opening to suit cooling requirements so that the evaporator works efficiently. It is meant to be installed in residential and commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, and rooftop, it is installed in the refrigerant line directly in front of the evaporator. It assists in the correct distribution of refrigerant and enhances temperature regulation.
