Description
The Watts 0794055 Second Check Repair Kit is a substitution component designed for 2-1/2 inch and 3-inch lead-free reduced-pressure-zone backflow preventer assemblies, used in HVAC systems connected plumbing infrastructure for water safety control. It is mounted inside backflow preventer units, where it restores the operation of the second check by changing the check assembly and associated O-rings. It is applied during large water distribution systems to maintain proper backflow protection and system compliance. It acts as an internal service component within the RPZ assembly, supporting accurate pressure separation in potable water lines.
