Description
The Daikin-McQuay 106489116 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) meters refrigerant flow to match cooling demand within HVAC systems. It is rated for 0.75-ton capacity and typically operates with R410A coolant under standard pressure conditions near 90 PSI, supporting stable superheat control and efficient system response. It regulates refrigeration entering the evaporator coil. As part of the refrigeration circuit it maintains proper flow balance, supports heat exchange efficiency, and contributes to consistent HVAC system performance.
