The York S1-1TVM2A1 2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is one of the essentialaccessories of HVAC systems which is specifically used for R22 refrigerant. This prevents the unlimited flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil enhancing cooling efficiency and at the same time keeping the system efficient. For air conditioning systems with capacities of 1.5 – 2.5 tons, the horsepower is 1/4 and the voltage is 460 V. Valve has a capillary length of 30” and an equalizer size of 1/4 SAE for accurate control of refrigerant flow. Its construction is made of brass which makes it strong and durable in its performance.
