Description
The Carrier HH18HA187 Limit Switch is a safety component for the Carrier HVAC systems. It has a disc shape with normally closed contacts. In other words, when the temperature surrounding the switch goes above the cut-in point of 80°F, the switch breaks the circuit and thus stops supplying power to the equipment connected. On the other hand, a temperature drop below the cut-out point of 180°F causes the switch to reset automatically and the switch closes thus supplying power. Designed for use with 120V and 240V circuits, and with a NEMA 1 enclosure rating for dust protection.
