Description
The NTI Boiler 64980459 Air Vent is an automatic air elimination component used in hydronic heating systems to release trapped air from closed-loop piping. In HVAC systems, it is installed at high points in boiler or piping assemblies where air naturally accumulates during filling and operation, helping maintain proper water circulation and heat transfer efficiency. It is designed with a 1/2″ MIP NPT connection in a Taco configuration, it operates through an internal float mechanism that opens to discharge air and closes when water is present. It improves system stability, and prevents air-related flow restrictions in residential and commercial applications.
