Description
The Amana-Goodman 0257F00221S Heat Exchanger Assembly is used to isolate the combustion gases of the circulating air stream. It is fitted in the HVAC systems in a compatible position, where it directs the hot combustion gases via internal passages to allow heat to be absorbed by the surrounding airflow and then passed through ductwork. The assembly works as an extension of the furnace heating section and helps in the delivery of consistent heat, and also keeps the combustion byproducts isolated during normal operation.
