Description
The Carrier 329681-401 Fan Guard is used to protect rotating fan blades, which can be used in HVAC systems. It is designed to enclose the fan assembly to avoid accidental contact, but it has free airflow. It is mounted on the fan housing and provides the maintenance crew with safety as well as protecting the fan against objects that might disrupt the operation of the fan. Its design ensures uniform air circulation, balances the operation of the system, and maintains the integrity of attached equipment.
