The Lennox 69018 Liquid Line Filter Drier removes moisture, acid formation, and solid particles from circulating refrigerant before the refrigerant reaches the metering and compression sections. Featuring a 3/8-inch ODF solder connection and 5-cubic-inch capacity, the dryer directs refrigerant through an internal desiccant core that absorbs contaminants during system operation. It is brazed into the liquid line of condensing units, split systems, and refrigeration HVAC systems where refrigerant purification is necessary for uninterrupted flow and thermal transfer. Internal filtration action assists with refrigerant cleanliness, reduces restriction caused by debris accumulation, and promotes stable circulation throughout closed refrigerant channels.
