Description
The Lennox Y8034 Fan Motor converts electrical power into rotary motion for the connected fan assembly. As the motor shaft rotates, the attached blades move air through the units air passage, carrying conditioned or heated air through the equipment. The motor is installed in the blower or fan compartment and connects to the units electrical circuit through the required wiring for HVAC systems. Its rotation follows the equipments operating cycle, allowing the fan to start, stop, or remain in operation as conditions change. The motor provides the mechanical rotation needed to keep air moving through the unit.
