The Sporlan Controls 124275 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a condensate metering element that regulates liquid flow into the evaporator by responding to temperature and pressure changes at the coil outlet for controlled high-temperature management in HVAC systems. It is rated for 70-ton capacity and calibrated for R22 refrigerant systems, using 1-1/8″ inlet and 1-3/8″ outlet ODF connections for secure brazed ducting integration. It is placed at the evaporator inlet section, where it maintains proper cooling fluid feed based on thermal load conditions.
