Description
The Trane RLY00923 Time Delay Relay is a fixed-interval timing unit that holds a switching action for a set period before allowing the next stage of operation to proceed within a control circuit. It receives an input signal from the thermostat or control board and counts through the delay window before closing or opening the output contact. Within HVAC systems, it regulates sequencing between heating stages, fan operation, and compressor restart intervals, preventing rapid cycling and ensuring each piece of equipment completes its timed transition before the control circuit advances to the next operating stage.
