Description
The York S1-02526366008 Limit Switch/Thermostat measures the temperature of circulating air within the heat exchanger and interrupts the electrical circuit when internal temperatures reach 170°F, automatically resetting once the temperature drops back in 110°F. A bimetallic element responds to thermal fluctuations by opening and closing the circuit at fixed calibrated points, providing automatic protection without manual intervention in HVAC systems. Seated within the air circulation path of forced-air furnaces and warm air heating units, it mounts directly onto the heat exchanger panel without requiring additional brackets or wiring alterations.
