Description
The York S1-8HK-16502-006 Electric Heater Kit W/Breaker is an auxiliary heating component, used to supply heat to the air distribution elements by means of electricity in HVAC systems. It operates using resistive heating coils, which can transform electrical energy to heat, with around 19.2 kW of heating output, operating on 240-volt single-phase power and permitting airflow across the heating coils to take up and distribute heat in air-handler HVAC systems. It is mounted in the cabinet of the air handler. Electrical connections are made to the control circuit, and the built-in breaker is used to protect the circuit.
